About the position
We are seeking an expert with strong research and technical expertise in Autonomous Systems, UAV/UGV, Artificial Intelligence, Communications, Networking, and Cyber-Physical Systems. The candidate will contribute to research, development, system design, and implementation of advanced technologies for autonomous navigation and intelligent systems.
Key Domain Areas of Expertise
UAV, UGV, and Autonomous Systems: Expertise in the design, development, navigation, perception, control, sensing, and deployment of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs), and autonomous systems.
Digital Signal Processing: Knowledge and experience in signal processing techniques, sensor data processing, filtering, feature extraction, signal analysis, and real-time processing for autonomous and intelligent systems.
Communications and Networking: Expertise in wireless communication systems, computer networks, communication protocols, network architecture, and reliable data communication for connected and autonomous systems.
Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning Techniques: Strong knowledge of AI, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, neural networks, reinforcement learning, and AI-based perception and decision-making for autonomous applications. Cloud/Edge Computing: Experience in cloud and edge computing architectures, distributed computing, real-time data processing, edge intelligence, IoT platforms, and deployment of AI and autonomous applications.
System, Server, and Networking: Expertise in system architecture, server management, network configuration, system administration, virtualization, storage, and deployment of reliable computing and networking infrastructure.
5G Connectivity for Autonomous Vehicles: Knowledge of 5G communication technologies, low-latency and high-reliability connectivity, V2X communication, network slicing, and 5G-enabled communication for connected and autonomous vehicles. Cyber Security for Autonomous Vehicles: Expertise in cybersecurity principles, secure communication, threat detection, intrusion detection, data protection, privacy, and security mechanisms for connected and autonomous vehicles.
Expected Contribution
The selected expert will be expected to contribute to research and development, system design, technology development, experimentation, technical documentation, publications, project execution, and collaborative research activities in the above-mentioned domains. Experience in multidisciplinary research involving autonomous navigation, intelligent transportation systems, connected vehicles, UAV/UGV platforms, AI-enabled systems, and next-generation communication technologies will be highly desirable.
