MTech (RA): AI and Wireless Communications

MSc in Math or Statistics, B.E./B.Tech./B.S. in EE/ECE/CSE or equivalent

At least one M.Tech. (Research Assistant) position is available with Aditya Siripuram under a project in the intersection of AI/ML and Wireless Communications in the Jan 2027 admission round.

The project is uniquely placed in terms of its immediate practical relevance and the depth of theoretical research. It offers the students the opportunity to specialise in a research track of interest to them: AI/ML analysis and application, wireless signal analysis, or detection/estimation theory, or even classical signal processing.

Prior knowledge of communications theory or AI/ML is not a hard prerequisite, but will be beneficial. Candidates will be guided in their research work with regular discussions and training will be given to acquire the technical background.
