Communications, Signal Processing, and Learning (CSPL), and Microelectronics and VLSI at IIT Hyderabad.

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum eligibility criteria is candidates satisfying any one of the following criteria:

  • Criterion 1: BE/BTech in relevant disciplines with a valid GATE score in EC/CS.
  • Criterion 2: ME/MTech in relevant disciplines with at least 60% or equivalent CGPA.
  • Criterion 3: B.Tech/B.E/B.Sc. Engg (4 Years)/MCA/M.Sc. with 80% from CFTIs (GATE qualified).

Note: Meeting the minimum criteria does not guarantee interview or admission. The department may set higher shortlisting criteria.

Fellowship Information

  • Position: PhD fellowship
  • Amount: Rs. 38,750/- (1st & 2nd year), Rs. 43,750/- (3rd to 5th year)
  • Rent Reimbursement: As per funding agency norms
  • Research Contingency: Rs. 1,20,000 per year

Other terms and conditions: As per Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme Phase –II, Round - II funded by MeitY.

Shortlisted candidates will be informed by email. Online interviews will be conducted (possibly multiple rounds). Only selected candidates will be contacted.
