Students and Student Facilities
The EE department of IITH consists total number of 406 students, out of which 147 are btech ,107 are mtech and 152 are PhD. students.
The following are some of the facilities offered to students at IITH.
A Tinkerer is someone who enjoys experimenting. People at Tinkerers' Laboratory are always open for such people with an aim to grow innovators and thinkers, converting their creative ideas into actual engineering products. For them to do whatever they love to do, let them have limitless hands-on experience and spend hours tinkering without any worries.So if you are turned on by machines and technology, Tinkerers' Lab is the place to be.
Women's Cell, IIT Hyderabad is established to ensure a safe and secure working/studying environment for women in IIT Hyderabad and to work towards a gender-sensitive community in which women and men are equal participants in society. All female students, faculty and staff of IIT Hyderabad are members of Women's cell. The Women's Cell of IIT Hyderabad has been established in accordance with the Supreme Court Directives for Women at the Work place.
College and hostel are exciting places. But at times they tend to get a bit overwhelming and stressful. It is in those times that every student needs guidance from people who have experienced similar stages in their life and would like to share their opinion about the same.
