Doctor of Philosophy Program - Course work

The electrical engineering department offers a PhD program for highly motivated students who are interested in acquiring deep knowledge and expertise in a chosen research area. The full time PhD students are required to complete varying amount of course work depending on their previous training. They are also required to defend a problem statement within 13 to 18 months after joining. This program is not time bound and is intended to provide the graduate students with advanced training and skills necessary for independent research in their chosen area.
